Abstract

|
Background: Sex determination of the unknown human skeletal remains is the first step to determine individual identification. Until now, several studies have showed the need for different methods to identify specific population groups.
Methods: In this study, the biometric information of cadavers was collected to provide physical anthropological data among Koreans.
Results: The results of this study showed data on physical and forensic anthropology as well as the importance of sex determination.
Conclusion: This study will facilitate better understanding on the importance of forensic nursing specifically focusing on sex determination of the unknown human skeletal remains.
